Water Boiler Instructions
Stop. Do not plug an empty water boiler in without verifying that it is off.
- Place water boiler on a dry, level surface away from edge.
- Fill with water to desired level, but not past the max. Heating unit must always be covered with water.
- Place the cover on the water boiler, twisting to lock it in place inside handles. Note the arrows on the cover for correct turning.
- With the temperature control dial set to off, plug the water boiler into a 120 volt AC grounded electric outlet only.
- Turn the temperature control to FULL position to bring water to a boil in about 35 minutes using cold water. After the water reaches a boil, reduce the temperature setting. Light in the base will glow when water is heating and will be off when water is at temperature.
- caution: Steam will be released from cover vents when water is boiling. Position water boiler away from cabinets, etc. to prevent damage from steam. Use caution to avoid steam burns from cover vents.
- When water level drops to heating unit, turn temperature control dial to OFF position and unplug cord from electric outlet. The spout is intentionally placed a little above the bottom, so some liquid will be left while the unit is on. Do not allow the water boiler to boil dry. Make sure it's off if you empty the last of the liquid.
